Many people misunderstand yoga, often associating it solely with physical
postures. However, in our meditation program, yoga refers to a broader practice
that includes meditation and knowledge.
In spirituality, yoga refers to a practice or discipline that aims to unify the
body, mind, and spirit. It encompasses various physical postures, breathing
exercises, meditation, and ethical principles. The ultimate goal of yoga in
spirituality is to achieve a state of union with the divine or higher
consciousness, leading to self-realization and inner peace.
The program starts on Monday morning at 7 AM and concludes late on Wednesday night.
If you are unable to attend for any reason and notify us 14 days before the program starts, we offer a full refund. However, if you have booked accommodation along with the program, we will refund only the amount paid for the program itself. Accommodation charges are non-refundable as hotel bookings are finalized in advance.
If you notify us less than 14 days before the program, we will not be able to provide a refund as we have already planned and booked places and food in advance. However, you can join our next program in India or internationally, and the money you paid can be used for another program.
To make the most of the program and absorb the learning effectively, here are some tips on what to bring and how to prepare:
- Dress comfortably: Wear clothing that allows you to sit and move around easily. Business casual attire is usually suitable unless otherwise specified.
- Take care of your health: Get enough sleep the night before the program to ensure you're well-rested and alert during the sessions. Additionally, stay hydrated by drinking enough water throughout the day.
- Open mind and willingness to learn: Come to the program with a positive attitude and a readiness to absorb new concepts and ideas.
- Engage actively: Participate in discussions, ask questions, and interact with fellow participants and instructors. Active engagement can enhance your learning experience.
- Review and apply what you learn: After each session, take some time to review your notes and reflect on how you can apply the learning to your work or projects.
At OshoDhara, we encourage modest and non-revealing clothing at all times. It's
important to note that black clothing is discouraged. Ideal attire includes long
or shortsleeved shirts that cover the upper body and shoulders, along with pants,
long shorts, or knee-length dresses.
Sweatpants and tops, blouses, or dresses that cover the shoulders are also
suitable. If you have white clothes or even bright colours like orange, we
encourage you to bring them along.
Important. Bring white clothes, you will need them for a few sessions.
Inappropriate attire includes see-through clothing, skintight garments, T-shirts
with obscene language or inappropriate messages. For women, please avoid
spaghetti straps, shoulder-free dresses, miniskirts, low-cut pants, or tights
without a skirt. For men, singlets, short shorts (shorts should reach below the
knee), or low-cut pants are discouraged.
Yes, you should bring 1 pair of white clothes that you will need for a few sessions during the event and a water bottle if you have one.
Nutritious & vegetarian healthy food will be available during the program
including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and tea.
